Providing Quality Care in Your Home

Calif. Dept. of Soc. Srvs. Lic. No. 424700004

BENEFITS OF IN-HOME CARE

Having in-home assistance allows you to remain in familiar surroundings, keep your own routines, and stay in touch with family, friends and even pets.

We accomplish the challenging tasks that come with receiving care services in your home. We recruit, select, and train staff for you. We  confirm their skills, and direct and supervise their work. We provide relief and replacements when needed. We establish a proper wage, pay correctly on time, and make required deductions and payments for taxes. We maintain insurance for injuries and property damage. Internet registries bulletin boards cannot provide these services.

ADAPTED TO YOUR INDIVIDUAL NEEDS

With an in-home assessment we learn what services you need and want us to provide. If you are receiving other services like home nursing or physical therapy, or just housecleaning, we adapt to our times and tasks to coordinate with them.

YOU KNOW WHAT, WHEN, WHO, AND HOW MUCH

After learning your needs, we propose a task list and schedule, along with the weekly fee. Before service begins your service coordinator will personally introduce the care giver we recommend and ask your approval to proceed. We send out weekly schedules via mail and email. You may change or cancel your service with one business day's notice.

CAREFULLY SELECTED STAFF

Each of our care givers has received a thorough review of their past employment, their current level of skills, their trustworthiness and dependability, and their desire to assist seniors. All of our care givers have undergone nationwide, criminal history, State Dept. of Justice and FBI fingerprint checks and are registered with the California Department of Social Services Home Care Services Bureau.

BONDED, TRAINED AND CAPABLE

All our care givers are bonded (insured) for their actions. We orient them to our practices for accomplishing assignments and to our standards of care, dependability and courtesy. Our care staff attend six training sessions annually, in our classroom, with an in-person instructor. Live instruction allows presentations to be adapted to the skill and experience of those attending. Instructor and care giver dialogue communicates teaching points and confirm understanding.

CARE GIVERS RECEIVE REGULAR SUPERVISION

Before our care givers begin an assignment, one of our Service Coordinators reviews with them your service plan and confirms they have the skill and availability to meet your needs. They then will arrange for you to meet the care giver we recommend to get your approval before the assignment begins. With your approval the service coordinator then orients the care giver your routines, your home, and assigned tasks.

Service Coordinators then regularly visits you and your care giver to evaluate service. If you request changes or the care giver needs direction to meet our standards the Service Coordinator instruct the care giver. Each care giver’s performance is reviewed monthly. Those achieving our high standards receive a substantial reward.

WE PROVIDE MORE VALUE

Compare more than hourly rates when choosing an in-home care provider. Compare agency and care giver performance too.

Our care givers have been selected by us because they show themselves to be capable, dependable, and trustworthy. They receive some of the area's best wages, plus paid time off, health insurance, uniforms, travel reimbursement, and more. This allows us to attract and retain the best.

Capable, well paid, properly directed and supervised care givers are productive and reliable. Our care givers accomplish much in a two-hour visit.  This level of performance adds value.

How Your Care Giver Gets Paid Is Important

We assumed all was done correctly. Four months after mother passed away, we received a letter from the California Franchise Tax Board.
